1. Who We Are

VibePreneurs is a luxury editorial platform and B2B advisory service headquartered in Hong Kong. We operate the website at vibepreneurs.com and provide intelligence, advisory, and membership services to brand founders and operators expanding across Asia, Europe, and North America. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to VibePreneurs.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled in a safe and responsible manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our platform, subscribe to our services, or interact with us in any way.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you register for an account, subscribe to membership, submit an inquiry, book a consultation, or communicate with us. This includes personal identifiers, contact information, professional details, and payment information.

  • · Name, email address, company name, and role when you register for membership or submit a form
  • · Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card details on our servers)
  • · Advisory inquiry details including business goals, budget, and target markets
  • · Newsletter subscription email addresses and engagement metrics
  • · Communications you send us via email, contact forms, or community channels

We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our site, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs. This data is collected via cookies and analytics tools to help us understand user behavior and improve our platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to communicate with you, to process transactions, and to ensure the security of our platform. Specific purposes include:

  • · To deliver and manage your membership, including access to content and community channels
  • · To process payments and send receipts and billing notifications
  • · To respond to advisory inquiries and schedule consultations with the appropriate operators
  • · To send the Curated Brief newsletter and platform updates (only if you have explicitly subscribed)
  • · To improve our platform, content, and services through aggregated analytics and user feedback
  • · To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
  • · To prevent fraud and maintain the security of our platform

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process your data on the following legal bases: your consent (e.g. newsletter subscription), the performance of a contract (e.g. membership services), our legitimate interests (e.g. improving our platform and preventing fraud), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in our communications.

When we rely on legitimate interests, we conduct a balancing test to ensure that your rights and interests are not overridden by our business needs. We never use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human intervention.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers and partners only when necessary to deliver our services or when required by law. All third parties we work with are contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.

  • · Stripe — for secure payment processing and billing management
  • · Supabase — for database hosting, authentication, and session management
  • · Calendly — for scheduling discovery calls and consultations
  • · Advisory corridor partners (The Way Company, Feminvest network) — only when you explicitly engage with those services
  • · Legal or regulatory authorities — when required by applicable law or to protect our rights

6. International Data Transfers

VibePreneurs operates from Hong Kong and serves clients across Asia, Europe, and North America. Your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

When we transfer data internationally, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place. For transfers from the European Economic Area, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or ensure that the recipient country has been deemed adequate by the European Commission. We also ensure that all third-party service providers we use maintain appropriate data protection standards regardless of their location.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you cancel your membership, we retain basic records for up to 3 years for legal and accounting purposes. Newsletter subscribers are removed from our mailing lists upon unsubscription, though we may retain a suppression record to prevent accidental re-subscription.

Advisory inquiry records are retained for 2 years to maintain continuity in our relationship. Analytics and log data are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are anonymized or deleted. We periodically review our data retention policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data. We are committed to honoring these rights and will respond to requests within the timeframe required by applicable law:

  • · Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy in a structured format
  • · Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • · Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") subject to legal retention requirements
  • · Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • · Data portability — request transfer of your data to another service provider
  • · Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • · Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at contact@vibe-preneurs.com. We will verify your identity before processing your request and aim to respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication protocols, role-based access controls, and regular security audits.

Payment information is processed through Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Youth-Parent Discovery Lab is designed for young people and their families, but we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal data may contact us to request deletion.

11. Contact

For any privacy-related questions, data subject requests, or concerns about our data practices, please contact us at contact@vibe-preneurs.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days and take all concerns seriously.
